There is parking onsite, and for those using public transport it is just a short walk to the train at Kent Station, where you can catch the Cobh service to Fota Island. Alternatively The Address will recommend a number of reasonable taxi services.

WHY
FAQ
How do I get there?

Car parking is available at Fota House with a short walk (5 minutes). Go in the entrance for Fota Wildlife Park, head past their carpark, and you’ll come to the carpark for Fota House and Gardens. Parking is €3, to be paid at the barrier upon exit. Cash/Card are both acceptable.

You can also get the train from Cork Kent Station towards Cobh. Fota has it’s own station on the line. The walk from the station to Fota House is about 15 minutes.

If you see the tigers, you went to the wrong place.

Yes. but parking is limited.

Ceremony starts at 3pm sharp! A coffee station will be on site beforehand, serving hot and cold coffees, teas, soft drinks, and protein balls.

Lisa will be getting photos taken before the ceremony. If you see her, ACT like you haven’t. She’s wearing white, so maybe all you saw was a ghost.

No. While we love them, kids and dogs aren’t invited. Storm is an exception, but even she isn’t allowed to stay for the ceremony, or see the bride.

Storm is also acting as security. She can be bribed with treats.

Music stops at 12:30am but the residence bar will be open until the last guest goes to bed.

That won’t be Lisa.

Lisa is the only gift Michael needs, but Michael would like cold hard untraceable cash to pay for the honeymoon.

We have employed the services of a photographer, so you don’t need to capture every single moment for us.

We would like you to keep the ceremony phone free, but every other time is completely fine.

Best photo of Lisa asleep in a corner wins a prize.

For those afraid of clashing with the bridal party, please avoid white (the maids of honour have their orders) navy, and dark green.

Please let us know as soon as you can by email or phone. We’ll be sad, but will understand.

We are keeping it casual. If you’d like to join us for a brunch/lunch, where this whole romance kicked off, you can find us at the Marina Market. Children, pets, tired bodies, and hangovers welcome. We’ll be there from 12 noon until 3pm at the latest.

For those of you who don’t know about the Marina Market, it’s a giant warehouse, full of vendors selling some of the tastiest food in Cork. Check it out here.
